Festival Update

The organizers of the Fall Into Fun Festival have extended the deadline for festival sponsorships through

Friday, Sept. 19. The festival is organized by the Indian Land Rotary Club and Carolina Gateway. Proceeds

from the third annual festival, set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 4 at Indian Land Middle School, will benefit

the new Del Webb Library at Indian Land. Festival organizers hope to raise $25,000 for the library’s

browsing area.

The festival’s major ($1,000) sponsors are Mulvaney for S.C. Senate, Lancaster County School District

and Springs Memorial Hospital. At the $250 level are Carolina First Bank and First Citizens Bank in Indian Land.

T-shirt sponsors ($100) are Carolina Chiropractor & Wellness, Founders Federal Credit Union, Faith

Presbyterian Church, Barry Adams Allstate Agency and Coldwell Banker United.

Festival sponsorship opportunities include:

For $100, business name will be featured on the festival T-shirt. Each sponsor will receive two free T-shirts;

all festival volunteers will wear the T-shirt on the day of the festival; and the shirts will be available to the

public to buy for $5 each.

For $250, your business name will be featured on the festival T-shirt and festival map, which will be distributed

to festival attendees as they arrive. For $500, your business name will be featured on the festival T-shirt and

festival map, and on a sign in the festival area of your choice. For $1,000, your business name will be featured

on the festival T-shirt and festival map, on a banner at the festival area you choose to sponsor and on the festival

entrance banner.

The festival will offer a silent auction; business and arts and crafts fairs; car and bike shows; children’s area

with petting zoo, pony rides, games and crafts; teen activities; and live entertainment with local bands. A

few local celebrities may also be making appearances at the festival.

Organizers are still seeking volunteers, business, arts and crafts and food vendors, silent auction items,

bands and children’s activities and entertainers for the annual festival.

Organizers will meet with volunteers at 6 p.m. Sept. 23 in the cafeteria of Indian Land Middle School. Anyone interested

in helping is welcome to attend.
